Celebrated on August 8th at the breathtaking Airstream, this intimate day perfectly reflected not only their love story but also the unique charm of our One Happy Island.
Some weddings you photograph. Others you feel. Carla & Ana’s intimate bohemian wedding at The Airstream in Aruba was both. with only their closest friends and family, it reflected their love story and the unique charm of our One Happy Island. The Venue: The Airstream, Aruba
The Airstream is one of Aruba’s most exclusive wedding venues, offering privacy and a natural, effortless beauty. Tucked away from the usual buzz of the island and surrounded by tall cacti and open desert landscape, it felt like a hidden paradise where love and connection took center stage.
For small weddings and intimate ceremonies, it is hard to beat. The vintage Airstream trailer, the wooden benches and the string lights give the space character before a single decoration goes up.
A Wedding Designed by a Designer
Carla is more than a bride to me. She is one of my closest friends and one of the most talented designers in Aruba. Knowing her eye for detail, I was not surprised that every element felt intentional, stylish and deeply personal. Together with Ana, she created a celebration that blended authenticity, elegance and joy in a way that could only be theirs.
As a creative director, I spend most of my time building visual worlds for brands. Watching Carla build one for her own wedding was a reminder that the strongest concepts are simple: a tight palette, honest materials and nothing added just to fill space.
Bohemian Wedding Style: Earthy, Natural, Effortless
Carla & Ana chose a boho décor that was effortlessly chic: earthy tones, natural textures and organic arrangements that reflected the free spirited essence of the couple. Dried pampas grass, woven details, wildflower inspired accents and a Persian rug down the aisle made the design feel grounded yet elevated

What stood out most was not the décor or the venue. It was the energy between them. Photographing two people so deeply connected is a privilege. Every glance, every laugh and every embrace spoke volumes about the life they have built together.
Being both their photographer and a close friend made the day even more meaningful. It reminded me why I do this work: to preserve moments that feel as alive decades from now as they did on the day itself.
